Faculty & Staff MBSR Course Orientation

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week program for faculty and staff that provides in-depth training in mindfulness meditation and movement practices, and helps participants integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. Outcomes have included reduced symptoms for stress as well as physical and behavioral health conditions such as anxiety and depression, chronic pain, hypertension. 

In Spring 2026, Dolores Hemphill (trained MBSR instructor) will be hosting an MBSR course for faculty and staff. This Orientation is a required for the application, which opens October 1, 2025 and will close October 31, 2025. Learn more about the course and application at care.tulane.edu/mbsr
