Hand writing a supportive message

We're Committed To Your Success

We offer a wide variety of thoughtfully curated services, resources, and events to meet the evolving needs of first-generation and limited-income students.

Every aspect of TU Thrive has been intentionally crafted to provide you with the support you need to navigate your academic journey and aid in your personal growth throughout your time at Tulane and beyond.

Who are Tulane’s Thrive Scholars?

Thrive Scholars are students who are the first-generation students whose parents, guardians, or other custodial family members have not completed a four-year degree. Thrive scholars are also students who receive the federal Pell Grant or other need-based assistance as their families may have limited financial resources.

TU Thrive Impact Statement

The TU Thrive is an extension of the Newcomb-Tulane College’s commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment where all students, including those who are first-generation, from limited income backgrounds can thrive academically and personally. NTC seeks to ensure that students are immersed in an environment of holistic support that cultivates a growth mindset throughout their academic journey.

Through TU Thrive, the College recognize the unique challenges some students may face and are dedicated to providing the resources, relationships, and opportunities that empower them to succeed, connect, and make meaningful contributions to our campus community and the New Orleans community.
