Learn more about the Mussafer Internship Initiative

Made possible by a generous gift through The Mussafer Family Foundation, the David and Marion Mussafer Internship Initiative will fund a comprehensive new effort to ensure that every student in Newcomb-Tulane College can pursue paid internships, mentorships and real-world career experiences with confidence.

In partnership with Tulane Alumni, the Mussafer Internship Initiative will leverage the university’s global alumni and family network to connect students with meaningful internships and mentorship opportunities beyond campus. The objective is for every undergraduate to find an experience that aligns with their interests and goals — ideally a paid internship that provides both professional growth and tangible impact.

Built on Tulane’s interdisciplinary academic focus, the Mussafer Internship Initiative will prepare students to apply classroom learning to industry and professional settings and contribute across sectors. It will support students at all Tulane undergraduate schools through a central, easy-to-use portal and empower them to graduate with the skills, experience and networks that lead to meaningful careers.
