Meet Our Panelists:
Meredith Galanti graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, where she was a Dean’s Honor Scholarship recipient. She currently lives in New York City and is an associate at Gates Ventures, where she brings a background in public service and strategic engagement to support senior leaders advancing high-impact work.
Amanda Krantz graduated from Tulane in December 2021 with a double major in Environmental Studies and Political Science and a minor in Public Health. Currently, Amanda resides in Washington, DC and is finishing her master's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Policy. She also works as a Research Fellow for the Solar and Storage Industries Institute (SI2), an organization dedicated to accelerating the deployment of solar and energy storage across the United States.
Kendall Pierce is the Community Partnership Coordinator at BEAR… BE A Resource, where she oversees the Greater Houston Permanency Collaborative. In this role, she works closely with partner organizations to help ensure that foster, kinship, and adoptive placements are safe, stable, and permanent, supporting long-term success for children and families across the greater Houston area.
Akira Shelton is a Los Angeles native and was a Posse Foundation Scholar at Tulane University where she earned a B.A. in political science with a minor in Africana studies. Following her graduation in 2024, Akira started in the mailroom at United Talent Agency (UTA) in Los Angeles, eventually working as an assistant to an agent in the Creators Department. After a year & a half at UTA, she is now transitioning from the agency side of the entertainment industry to the production side.
