Cristina Lawson

Cristina started her career in Nashville, supporting young adults in the foster care system through career and academic pursuits. From this experience, she realized she was drawn to working with students during this time of self-authorship and transition and found her way onto college campuses in Boston, Atlanta, Asheville, and, now, New Orleans. Prior to Tulane, Cristina managed programs around internships and career development, student formation, and the residential experience. She now collaborates with university partners to provide communication and programming to support an intentional and unique first-year experience. Cristina has a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Social Work from Miami Univeristy and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration with a Certificate in Human Rights and International Justice from Boston College. She is motivated by innovative ideas, positive collaborations, tech-forward approaches, and great food.
