Skylar is a Political Economy major on the pre-law track, who is passionate about establishing fair and inclusive systems for marginalized communities through policy reform. Alongside her academic pursuits, she serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Tulane Journal of Policy and Political Economy and as a Service-Learning Assistant at the Tulane Center for Public Service. Skylar was drawn to the Dean’s Ambassador Program for its potential to engage directly with university leadership and to address critical college priorities in equity, diversity, and inclusion. In her role as a Dean’s Ambassador, Skylar not only hopes to foster a more connected and inclusive environment here at Tulane, but further her commitment to effective community leadership. For Skylar, leadership is about driving transformative change, and as a Dean’s Ambassador, she is committed to nurturing a sense of community, sparking innovation, and motivating peers to excel, all while working to enhance the experiences of her fellow Tulanians and beyond.
