My name is Layla Salem, and I am originally from New Orleans! I am honored to serve as a Dean's Ambassador at Tulane University. This role is a tremendous opportunity for me to develop as a leader and contribute to the enhancement of our university community. I am deeply committed to advocating for positive change on campus, particularly for underrepresented groups such as commuting students, first-generation students, and Arab and Muslim students. As a Dean's Ambassador, I am dedicated to amplifying their voices and ensuring their perspectives are heard and valued. With a firm belief in the power of representation and advocacy, I am eager to make a meaningful impact as a Dean's Ambassador, striving to create positive change and to further foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging on Tulane’s campus.
