Favorite thing(s) about Tulane: “The friends I’ve made during my time here. They push me in ways I didn’t know I needed to be pushed and for them, I eternally grateful.” 

Lauryn is a rising junior from Shreveport, LA majoring in Public Health and minoring in Psychology on the pre-med track. On campus, she enjoys being involved in many student organizations such as Green Wave Ambassadors, Big Easy EC, and the Minority Association of Premedical Students. She is also very excited to start as an Admissions Intern in the fall. To Lauryn, leadership means not only sharing and advocating for your ideas and your vision but also integrating other’s ideas into the best product possible. It’s all about collaboration. This is one of the key pillars that drew her to apply to the Dean’s Ambassador Program. She is not only excited to collaborate with her fellow Dean Ambassadors but is also excited to learn from those who have come before her. She is thrilled about the opportunity to expand her role as an ambassador on campus, to connect with Tulane alumni, and to learn from Dean Demosthenidy and other Tulane leaders.
