Favorite thing(s) about Tulane: “The organizations that I am a part of, the amazing opportunities and resources offered.”
I am from New Orleans, Louisiana. I am a rising junior, triple majoring in Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology with a minor in Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics. I am also Pre-Law with hopes of becoming a Civil Rights/Social Justice Attorney. I am a Community Engagement Advocate (CEA), the Engaging Communities Logistics Coordinator for the CEA Program, a Service Learning Assistant, the Vice President of Black Student Union and Black Women's Society, and a Student Ambassador for the Office of Multicultural Affairs. I also am a part of a handful of other organizations on campus. As someone contributing to fostering relationships on campus and also leading others in spaces, leadership is a critical aspect of responsibility, trust, and integrity. It is important for me to represent every organization I am a part of with the utmost respect and cater to the needs of my executive board members and general body population. I welcome and appreciate feedback and hope to grow in grace while improving my roles and learning more about my members who I work closely with. The motivation behind wanting to become a Dean's Ambassador was the desire to foster more relationships with students, faculty, staff, and alumni at Tulane. This position will allow me to further aid as a liaison for the student population and college and university leadership. I enjoy planning and hosting events to bring individuals together for a specific purpose or to have a good time, so I am looking forward to serving the Tulane community in these capacities. EDI initiatives are very important to me as we can never stress the importance of these missions. I hope to lead the next moving steps in creating spaces on campus that encourage individuality and differences, while supporting students in their efforts to thrive and succeed.
