Veronica Handwerger

Veronica Handwerger is a junior at Tulane University double majoring in History and English. Originally from Washington, D.C., she was drawn to the Dean’s Ambassador Program by her appreciation for the university’s mission, values, and commitment to community. Veronica believes deeply in the power of connection and shared experiences to enrich the student journey.

She currently serves as Secretary on the executive board of the Tulane Women’s Lacrosse Team, a role that has been both meaningful and formative in her campus experience. As the daughter of a Newcomb College alumna, Veronica is especially passionate about strengthening bonds between current students and alumni and fostering a strong sense of fellowship among her peers.

Through the Dean’s Ambassador Program, she looks forward to deepening her engagement with the Tulane community and contributing to its legacy of leadership and service.
