Biography
Isaac Russell is a highly engaged junior majoring in Public Health with a minor in Black American Music. Originally from Prince George's (P.G.) County, Maryland, he is a College Track scholar from the Durant Center. Isaac is a dedicated leader on campus, serving in multiple roles: Center for Intercultural Life Ambassador, Building Manager at the Reily Center, and a Resident Advisor (RA) in Aron Hall. Beyond his leadership positions, he is a member of Chi Alpha campus ministry and performs in several musical bands. In his free time, he enjoys trying new foods and activities, attending live music events, and playing intramural volleyball and football. Isaac is also deeply committed to his faith community, serving on the Praise and Worship team. His passion lies in paying his experiences forward and empowering others, which directly aligns with his career goal in healthcare administration. He is honored to serve as a Chicago Scholar Mentor, viewing the role as a key opportunity to make a positive impact.

Combining this environment with an institution like Tulane University, which offers incredible resources and opportunities, connecting students from all over the world, creates a truly wonderful and enriching experience of a lifetime. The synergy between the vibrant culture of New Orleans and the global community at Tulane makes for an unmatched academic and personal journey.
Tips for Foundation Scholars: Pace yourself and remember that college is an opportunity to set yourself up for the future. Try to build small, healthy habits that will benefit you for a lifetime.
