Grace Hammond
Biography
Grace Hammond is a junior at Tulane University, majoring in legal studies in business on the pre-law track. A proud New Orleans native and graduate of Isidore Newman School, Grace’s deep-rooted connection to Tulane began at just six months old, making her college experience both personal and purposeful. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Black Student Union, a resident assistant, a pathfinder with the Office of Admission and a mentor with the Women and Youth Supporting Each Other (WYSE) program. Grace has also held roles as a summer housing assistant, admissions intern, and Wave Leader — experiences that have shaped her commitment to inclusive leadership, mentorship and student support. To Grace, leadership means showing up with compassion, consistency and accountability. She believes in leading by example, creating spaces where others feel empowered and supported. Her lived experiences and dedication to service drive her work across campus.
