Favorite Thing about TU:  My favorite thing about Tulane is how endless the opportunities are. I’ve been able to get involved in so many student organizations because the university genuinely encourages and supports student involvement. Tulane’s flexibility has allowed me to explore multiple interests—academically, professionally, and socially—without feeling limited. That openness to student leadership and initiative is what has shaped my experience the most.

Tips for Foundation Scholars:  Try everything! Put your email down for all the clubs at the fair. Participate in the research symposium. Apply to the internship you’re not feeling the most confident about. Take a chance on yourself. Some of the moments that feel the most uncertain, anxious, or even hopeless end up being the moments where you surprise yourself with what you’re truly capable of. Don’t be afraid of getting a “no,” use it to fuel your determination and push you toward what is meant for you. What’s truly yours can’t be taken away.
