Biography
Tanya Mandishona serves as the Director of the Office for Foundation Scholars (OFS). Originally from Zimbabwe, she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Her early involvement in Housing and Residence Life during her undergraduate and graduate studies sparked a lasting passion for supporting college students.
In 2018, Tanya completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at The University of Southern Mississippi. She brings extensive experience across various areas of higher education, which informs her holistic approach to promoting the academic and personal success of OFS scholars. Tanya collaborates closely with campus and foundational partners to ensure scholars are engaged, supported, and empowered to reach their goals.Outside of her professional role, Tanya is an avid foodie who enjoys exploring new restaurants and experimenting with recipes at home. She is a dedicated New Orleans Saints fan and enjoys traveling, reading, and attending festivals.
