Biography
Rebecca is currently the director of NTC Events at Tulane University. Rebecca works to ensure the successful implementation of signature events for Newcome-Tulane College and serves as the liaison to the college units for event-related matters. Prior to joining Tulane, Rebecca was the director of education for the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute (NOCHI). Before NOCHI, Rebecca co-founded RemoteMD: Education & Training, formerly known as Remote Medical Education, to address the educational needs of the industrial remote environment medical specialists (IREMS). After returning to her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2006, she joined Louisiana State University (LSU) as the president of the LSU Health Sciences Center Institute of Professional Education. There, she managed the LSU School of Medicine, New Orleans’ continuing medical education program. She began her career in continuing medical education at Education | Outcomes | Science (EOS), formerly known as the Health Sciences Center for Continuing Medical Education, in New York City, where she had the opportunity to work with a wide range of pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Merck and Genentech.
