Catherine Hoang

Catherine is an international student from Vietnam majoring in finance, legal studies in business, and mathematics at Tulane University. A first-year honors scholar and global scholarship recipient, she is passionate about interdisciplinary learning, leadership and community engagement. Her experiences span academic research, exhibition curation, entrepreneurship and policy research, including work with the United Nations Development Program Vietnam on projects supporting underserved communities. At Tulane, Catherine is actively involved in the Residence Hall Association, The Tulane Hullabaloo and Freeman EDGE Consulting Group, and will serve as a peer college advisor in the coming academic year. Through her leadership and service, she is committed to fostering meaningful connections, supporting student success and representing the Newcomb-Tulane College community with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm.
