Candace Weeden

Candace Weeden is a fourth-year student at Tulane University majoring in neuroscience with a minor in psychology. Passionate about research and medicine, she plans to pursue an MD/PhD after graduation. Candace serves as a resident assistant, peer success leader, peer college advisor and research assistant in Dr. Matthew Dalva’s lab. She believes leadership is rooted in integrity, humility and ensuring others feel seen, supported and valued. As a dean’s ambassador, Candace is dedicated to representing student perspectives and fostering meaningful connections between students and Newcomb-Tulane College leadership.
