Amy George
College Track Class of 2030
Biography
Amy George is a senior professor of practice in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, where she has been a member of the teaching faculty since 2006. Outside of the classroom, connecting with students through formal and informal mentorship experiences and interactions is a true passion of hers. George recognizes the influence of the professors who guided her as she navigated her undergraduate and graduate experiences as a first generation college student here at Tulane (N ’95, G ’04). They helped to shape her academic trajectory in both tangible and intangible ways, and she considers it an honor to be able to support students through their explorations of this space.
