Eddy is brand new to Tulane and New Orleans, coming to us from the University of Miami in Florida. He is here to lead the NTC Career Services team, in collaboration with campus partners, to offer tailored career services that meet the needs of all Tulane students. To ensure students are at ease with the career development process, he's looking forward to creating new initiatives to enhance services here. His goal is to work on eliminating barriers for students to engage with the services and events and has access to opportunities and networks. As a first-generation college student and student mentor, he is passionate about serving the needs of this community specifically. Eddy has an M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of PA and a B.A. in Speech Communication. He has presented at national events on career-focused initiatives including NACE this past year in Orlando, Florida. Outside the office he spends time at his local church, capturing moments through photography and raising his 4-year-old son, Benjamin with his life partner Juliana.
