In her role as director, Lisa works with the dean and staff in Newcomb-Tulane College to advance programming for undergraduate students. She works with alumni and parent donors on these initiatives, and will also network with colleagues across campus in the various schools to connect donors and ensure their philanthropy is meaningful. Before coming to Tulane, Lisa served as Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at St. Agnes Academy, a Catholic girls’ preparatory school in Houston, Texas, where she was part of the Capital Campaign team. Prior to that, Lisa worked as Director of Advancement for the University of Houston College of Technology, and for the American Heart Association. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Houston, and a master’s in public relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has been a CFRE since 2011, and is an Association of Fundraising Professionals Master Trainer. Outside of campus life, she enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with Ava, her Miniature Schnauzer.
